Readwell

As an app developer for a startup at the Princeton University eLab Accelerator, I worked alongside a team of college students to create Readwell, an EdTech, subscription-based app that offers high-quality middle grade adventure stories for children. During the internship, I brainstormed designs and created Figma layouts for the app. Afterward, I used SwiftUI, Firebase, and an e-reading API to create the app. When users boot up the homepage, they'll see a variety of recommended and popular books. They can also search for books on the explore page and view the entire selection of content on the library page. When the user opens a book, they have the option to read or listen to it, and customize their reading experience. My time at Readwell was a great learning opportunity since it was one of my first times creating a product in a more professional environment. The skills and experiences I gained will help me immensely when I eventually have my own startup.
