At PDS, I’ve explored my interests, met amazing people, and worked with talented faculty. It’s a place I can call my second home, and I’ve always wanted to give back to a community that gave me so much. That’s why I created Trails, a virtual tour website that showcases PDS from the lense of the students. To build the app, I first interviewed current and former students to see what they loved about PDS and formed a team of diverse students to ensure that Trails represented the student community. Next, I took photos of my favorite places and worked with the PDS administration to acquire data. By providing a genuine view of PDS on and off campus, I hope our diverse community will become even more varied and accessible. Additionally, I want every student to feel like they have a place here, and I want every family to know that we can’t wait to show them everything my community offers.
